Grant Maguire is Founder and CFO of Strong Search, bringing 15+ years of operational leadership experience from high-growth SaaS companies. He previously led operations, scaling from $2m to $20m ARR. Grant’s expertise in building scalable operations and disciplined financial management ensures Strong Search delivers consistent, profitable growth while maintaining our commitment to quality and client success. Outside of work, Grant is a devoted family man, eagerly counting down to the arrival of his third child while enjoying quality time with his two children and his partner. You’ll often find him out on walks with Dave, the family dog, exploring the outdoors and enjoying the everyday moments that keep him grounded and motivated.
Neil Clark is a Founder and Non-Executive Director at Strong Search, providing strategic oversight, commercial challenge, and leadership as the business scales. As one of the founders, Neil plays a central role in founder leadership, shaping the firm’s vision, culture, and long-term direction. He is actively involved in major business decisions and business development, ensuring Strong Search remains commercially focused, well-governed, and positioned for sustainable long-term growth. Outside of work, Neil is a passionate football and boxing enthusiast, where discipline and competitive spirit are non-negotiable. A devoted family man, Neil prioritises time with his wife and children, and brings that same intentional approach to building wealth and value, because success should never be accidental.
Ellen Applin is Operations and Marketing Manager at Strong Search, managing strategic operations and marketing initiatives that drive the firm’s growth. Previously specialising in placing senior finance professionals across the South Coast, Scott has partnered with companies ranging from PE-backed SMEs to large PLCs. After 8 years with his previous employer, he made the jump into SaaS GTM hiring, favouring the opportunity to partner with some of the most exciting companies globally.
